BioMy name is Tiffanie, but everyone calls me Tiff or Sis. I was seventeen years old when I created this journal. I'm a artist, writer, a fashion designer and a video game fanatic. My cousin told me once that I'm a walking contradiction -- I love the sun but I hate light. I like chocolate ice cream but I cant stand chocolate cake. I dislike ice in all drinks but I'll eat ice chips like popcorn. I love solitude but I hate to be alone.
I love listening to all forms of music, be it the philharmonic, classic rock, japanese pop, or even Disney songs -- my parents often threaten to kidnap my beloved mp3 player because it is constantly on and I cant hear if they're talking to me. I don't always listen to the lyrics of a song -- words can be meaningful to some but meaningless to others. When I don't get the message of the lyrics, or I don't understand what it means, I tune the voices out and just listen to the music. Sometimes I will listen to a song, over and over again, and the world just starts to fade away and its only me and the music. I wish that people would just burst into song whenever the fancy strikes them -- like in a musical. Music is beautiful and I wish I knew how to play an instrument.
I started drawing when I was a kid and it kind of progressed into an obsession. Art is more then just a hobby to me, it is a way to express the thoughts in my mind. I love how a blank canvas can come to life with a few colors and a flick of the wrist. My family often tells me how wonderful all my art looks but sometimes I sit back and stare at it, wanting to do nothing more then take some white paint and slather it over the canvas so I can start again just to make it perfect.
When I was younger I detested the very thought of reading full length chapter books without being forced to -- now I read something new everyday. And if I can't find something new to read, I reread something I've already read. I like stories about time travel, love, conflict and peace, adventure, fantasy, history, fact or fiction. Once something catches my interest, I usually read it until I reach the last page. Reading has also expanded my vocabulary. My cousins hate it when I correct their grammer, but I hold firm in the belief that they'll thank me for it later in life.
